Area Manager

About the Role

Al Futtaim Group is seeking an Area Manager to oversee and manage administrative functions across multiple stores in Jeddah. This full-time position requires an individual with 5-10 years of experience to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support store management, and contribute to operational excellence.

Role Overview

The Area Manager will be responsible for administering all administrative work functions, enforcing compliance, and minimizing business risk. The role involves supporting store management through efficient processes and training, contributing to daily operations, and playing a key part in system development, policy implementation, business development, and ensuring process and compliance across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor administration office activities across all locations to ensure adherence to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support store management teams by providing training to users on store operating systems to minimize discrepancies.
• Assist with investigations and reporting of till discrepancies to the General Manager.
• Ensure stock takes and physical inventory counts are conducted according to SOPs and provide assistance in investigations as required.

Policy and Process Development

• Develop and implement store procedures in collaboration with the regional office and the Retail Compliance Manager.
• Review and amend SOPs based on business requirements and internal audit findings.
• Develop and deliver training on procedures for new territories, ensuring alignment with group and local legislation.
• Review internal audit reports and support store managers in implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage administrative functions and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Experience in supporting store operations and training staff on operating systems.
• Strong understanding of process development and implementation.
