The Business Analyst Role

Tjdeed Technology® is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Professional Services department. This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves supporting multiple customer engagements and technology solutions. The Business Analyst leads discovery and requirements analysis, maps current and future state processes, and produces clear functional documentation and acceptance criteria. The role also supports solution validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business-process handover, and customer sign-off, working closely with Project Managers, Solution Leads, engineers, and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops with business and IT stakeholders for assigned engagements.
• Understand business objectives, current processes, pain points, maturity, systems, data, and dependencies.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, identified gaps, decisions, and agreed recommendations.
• Produce Business Requirements Document (BRD) / Functional Requirements Document (FRD) content, user stories, use cases, process maps, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Analyze requirements for ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, Discovery, ESM, UEM, and IT operations solutions, as applicable.
• Define business requirements for workflows, catalogues, roles, access, approvals, SLAs, notifications, forms, data, and reporting.

Solution Development and Project Support

• Collaborate with Solution Leads and engineers to validate feasibility, dependencies, and design alignment prior to customer approval.
• Baseline approved requirements, maintain traceability, assess change impacts, and support the Project Manager's change-control process.
• Support presales discovery, contribute to RFP responses, provide SOW inputs, and clarify requirements when requested.
• Coordinate the business aspects of Conference Room Pilot (CRP), prototype, and demonstration sessions, including scenarios, feedback, decisions, and acceptance.
• Prepare UAT scenarios, support business users during testing, coordinate defect validation and retesting, and facilitate customer sign-off.
• Maintain minutes and actions for BA-led workshops and provide inputs to the Project Manager's risk, issue, assumption, and dependency registers.
• Support business-process knowledge transfer, handover documentation and acceptance, and contribute to improving reusable BA templates and standards.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, particularly within IT services or digital transformation contexts. A strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and related solutions is essential for success in this role.
