About the Clerk Accounting Role

Marriott International is seeking a Clerk Accounting to join our team in Makkah, supporting operations across the region including Jeddah. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and supporting various reporting functions within our dynamic environment. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established financial procedures.

Core Financial Responsibilities

The Clerk Accounting will manage a range of essential financial and administrative tasks, ensuring precision and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

• Checking figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Organizing, securing, and maintaining all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information.
• Maintaining accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
• Preparing, maintaining, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
• Completing period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
• Preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.

• Following all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets, as well as the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Addressing guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Communicating clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones and emails using appropriate etiquette.
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to reach common goals, and responding appropriately to concerns.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for the Clerk Accounting position should meet the following qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None required.
