Bupa Arabia is seeking a Financial Planning & Performance Trainee to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This internship offers a foundational experience for individuals looking to gain practical exposure within a leading organization in the region.

The Financial Planning & Performance Internship

This entry-level role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting activities. The Trainee will support the Planning & Reporting team, assisting in the execution of day-to-day processes and developing a strong foundation in financial analysis and management reporting.

Core Responsibilities

The Financial Planning & Performance Trainee will contribute to key financial processes, including monthly forecasting, OPEX reporting, and supporting the Annual Operating Plan. Responsibilities will cover:

Monthly Forecast and OPEX Reporting Tasks

• Assist in collecting and organizing actual financial data from the Financial Reporting and Commercial teams.
• Support data validation and alignment checks against the income statement.
• Help input and maintain data in forecasting model templates on a monthly basis.
• Assist in consolidating data into the central forecast model and preparing draft outputs for review.

Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Support Tasks

• Support the preparation and distribution of AOP submission templates to various departments.
• Assist in consolidating departmental inputs into the central AOP model.
• Help reconcile AOP submissions against historical actuals and the latest forecasts.
• Track outstanding submissions and follow up with departments regarding missing or incomplete data.
• Assist in preparing review materials and presentation decks for senior leadership sessions.
