About the Role

Flow Progressive Logistics is seeking a Head of Freight Forwarding & Shipping to lead and expand its freight forwarding and shipping operations. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah, and requires a professional with extensive experience in the logistics sector.

Role Overview

The Head of Freight Forwarding & Shipping will be responsible for the growth and management of Flow Progressive Logistics' freight forwarding and shipping business across sea, air, and multimodal trade lanes. This involves overseeing commercial performance, fostering carrier and agency relationships, and ensuring efficient operational execution to deliver profitable and reliable freight services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Profit & Loss (P&L) for sea, air, and multimodal forwarding, as well as shipping and liner-agency operations.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for trade lanes, pricing, and carrier contracts.
• Drive volume and margin growth across key accounts and target vertical markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, and customs partners.
• Ensure excellence in booking, documentation, customs clearance, and on-time delivery processes.
• Manage and develop the freight forwarding and shipping team across Flow Progressive Logistics' markets.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in freight forwarding and shipping is required for this role.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves leading a team within a dynamic logistics environment.
