About the Opportunity

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a qualified Hydraulic Inspector to join a high-profile Operation and Maintenance (O&M) project. This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on ensuring the integrity and performance of critical hydraulic and water distribution systems.

Role Purpose

The Hydraulic Inspector will be responsible for the comprehensive inspection, monitoring, and assessment of water distribution networks and hydraulic infrastructure. This role is central to ensuring strict compliance with established codes and standards, and to facilitating the quality and timely delivery of hydraulic works within the project scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and assess the performance and maintenance of water distribution systems and hydraulic networks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of hydraulic works.
• Prepare inspection reports and provide recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
• Review design and technical documents related to hydraulic systems to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Participate in the testing and commissioning of water and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental standards on site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in hydraulic systems, preferably within O&M and PMC projects.
• Previous experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of water networks, pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
• Familiarity with relevant inspection tools, equipment, and reporting methods.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
