About the Role

CoorB is seeking a QA Engineer to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks across various systems.

Role Overview and Impact

The QA Engineer will be responsible for leading test automation initiatives and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines. This position drives continuous quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring product reliability and testing efficiency across web, mobile, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage across all functionalities.
• Implement CI/CD integration to automate regression, smoke, and functional testing pipelines.
• Develop robust automation scripts to validate APIs, databases, and user interfaces.
• Lead performance, load, and stress testing efforts to ensure optimal system scalability and reliability.
• Continuously evaluate, enhance, and standardize automation tools, processes, and best practices.
• Drive test data management strategies and promote the reusability of test components and scripts.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers in automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and advocate for testability and quality throughout system design and development.
• Generate test reports and quality metrics to monitor release readiness, defect leakage, and testing effectiveness.
