About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Jeddah is seeking a Staff Nurse I to provide comprehensive nursing care. This full-time position involves utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established standards of nursing practice and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care as assigned, following core standards and established policies.
• Assume accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, including discharge planning.
• Contribute to reducing length of stay and waiting times in collaboration with Case Management.
• Document all relevant information accurately, appropriately, and in a timely manner.
• Report equipment failures, safety/security issues, and supply inventory reductions to the Head Nurse or designee.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary partners to achieve continuous improvement in patient care quality.
• Act as an advocate for patients and families, identifying areas for improvement and potential negative impacts on patient care outcomes.
• Promote a safe environment and patient care by embracing a safety culture and identifying risks.
• Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
• Contribute to cost efficiency savings on the unit by managing resource utilization.
• Contribute to achieving clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
• Lead unit-based Performance Improvement activities as assigned.
• Participate in the orientation of new staff and nursing students, acting as a preceptor/mentor.
• Demonstrate transcultural principles in nursing practice.
• Contribute to special projects and assignments linked to nursing strategic priorities.
• Assist in promoting and sharing knowledge through mentorship, aligned with research and evidence-based practice.
• Follow all Hospital-related policies and procedures.
• Participate in self and others' education, training, and development.
