About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is central to ensuring the effective installation, commissioning, and maintenance of basic system field devices. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in troubleshooting technical issues and responding to warranty calls, contributing to the seamless operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices and perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Respond to basic warranty calls as required.
• Keep Johnson Controls (JCI), contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any emerging issues.
• Deliver output in accordance with specific operational targets.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies clearly to both internal and external parties.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems within existing systems and processes, implementing minor changes as necessary.
• Address problems and issues that generally fall within a single job area or discipline, characterized by a well-defined scope.
• Apply specialized knowledge relevant to specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations.

This is an individual contributor role, meaning the Service Technician will operate independently without direct responsibility for leading or managing others. The application of knowledge and problem-solving efforts will primarily be domestic, focusing on locations within the country or neighboring regions with similar cultural contexts. Candidates for the Service Technician position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a technical service or field support role.
