About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves installing and commissioning system field devices, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. The Service Technician will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Install complex required system field devices.
Perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in existing systems.
Respond to basic warranty calls and address issues.
Keep Johnson Controls Arabia, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any emerging issues.
Deliver outputs that significantly impact broader operational targets within the job area.
Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external stakeholders.
Make minor changes to correct or resolve issues in existing systems and processes.
Address problems and issues primarily within a single job area or discipline, with occasional involvement in vaguely defined problems requiring broader understanding.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A two-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is suggested for this role.
Experience range of 2-5 years is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrated ability to apply specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, or trade operations.
Familiarity with broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills to address well-defined issues and, less frequently, vaguely defined problems.

Work Environment and Scope

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
