Supervisor Systems /IT (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Supervisor Systems /IT to join their team in Makkah, with operations extending to Jeddah. This full-time role involves overseeing and managing IT systems and providing technical support to ensure smooth operations within the hospitality environment. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer software and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to address business problems.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements for IT systems.
• Operate computer and peripheral equipment, including entering commands and activating controls.
• Troubleshoot, modify, support, manage, and maintain application programs and user accounts.
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions, and installation activities.
• Train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
• Manage and coordinate planning, design, operations, maintenance, and resource allocation for telecommunications activities, including client/server support.
• Advise on administrative policies, procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods related to telecommunications.

Leadership and Operational Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Foster positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in systems or IT support.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software and system issues.
• Ability to enter and locate information using computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for professional interactions.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures and protect company assets.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
