About the Role

Modern Mills For Food Products Co. is seeking a qualified Branch Accountant to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position is central to maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency at the branch level, ensuring all accounting practices align with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Role Overview

The Branch Accountant is responsible for the comprehensive management of all accounting activities specific to the branch. This involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with established procedures, and the timely preparation of financial reports. The role is critical in supporting the branch's financial health and operational transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions and postings accurately and efficiently.
Monitor sales activities, collection processes, and customer balances to ensure financial health.
Prepare comprehensive branch financial reports and conduct thorough reconciliations.
Control petty cash funds and manage branch expenses in accordance with company policies.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to internal controls and providing necessary documentation.
Coordinate closely with the head office finance team on all financial matters and reporting.
Manage Accounts Payable processes for the branch, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the Branch Accountant position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting. A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance procedures is essential for success in this role.

Work Setting

This is a full-time role based in Jeddah. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic branch environment, collaborating effectively with both local branch teams and the central finance department.
