About the Role of Commercial Manager, Beauty

Chalhoub Group is seeking a Commercial Manager for the Beauty sector to join our team in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time role is responsible for maximizing commercial performance and enhancing customer, partnership, and people experience across all trade operations. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the development and execution of brand strategies across the customer network.
Collaborate with Marketing and Brand teams to ensure the full rollout of commercial initiatives in the market.
Align with Commercial teams on annual sales planning and target setting, consolidating data to generate an overall KSA Sales, spending, and CTP overview.
Consolidate all price structures per brand and customer, suggesting improvements to profitability through contract adjustments with trade or Exw negotiations with suppliers.
Target improvements in shared services costs by monitoring detailed cost reports and advising brand teams on cost implications.
Monitor discounts, margins, and profitability to sustain business performance.
Track sell-out performance and stock levels, proactively managing shortages and risks.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and performance insights.
Deliver data-driven commercial reports, both quantitative and qualitative.
Set and monitor individual and team sales targets across the organization.
Manage the brand, customer, and channel P&L and overall financial performance.
Evaluate brand performance and recommend strategic actions, including scenario planning for pricing strategy, NPD strategy, and exits.
Manage resources effectively within approved budgets.
Provide accurate and timely financial updates to management.
Drive overall sales performance across the market.
Ensure strong commercial and financial acumen across brands, regions, customers, and channels.
Identify market opportunities and provide relevant market intelligence.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Background in FMCG, preferably within the beauty industry.
Strong market awareness with a hands-on, field-oriented approach.
Proven commercial mindset with solid financial acumen to drive performance and deliver results.
