Jeddah Airports | مطارات جدة is seeking a dedicated General Ledger Specialist to join its finance team. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and transparency of the organization's operations.

The Role: General Ledger Specialist

The General Ledger Specialist is responsible for the meticulous maintenance of financial records within the general ledger. This role ensures accurate and compliant financial reporting, which is fundamental to supporting the organization's financial stability, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record and categorize financial transactions to maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare and post journal entries for revenues, expenses, and necessary adjustments.
• Reconcile various accounts within the general ledger, including bank accounts, receivables, and payables.
• Collaborate effectively with auditors during both internal and external audit processes.
• Utilize financial software and systems for record maintenance and report generation.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
• Ensure the completeness and correctness of all financial data.
• Update the chart of accounts to align with the organization's financial structure and reporting requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Execute other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
