Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Al Osaimi Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its engineering team. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals and will involve working across multiple projects within the Kingdom, primarily based in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience, specifically as a Site Engineer with exposure to project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing technical drawings and contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Managing testing, commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and preparing snag lists.
• Providing site supervision and resolving issues that arise during project execution.
• Contributing to mechanical design, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and tender documentation.
• Overseeing project management responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of prior experience as a Site Engineer with exposure to Project Management.
• PMP Certification is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi mechanical standards and codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to travel and work on-site across various locations within the Kingdom.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires flexibility to travel and work on-site across multiple project locations within the Kingdom. The position is full-time, and the salary will be discussed during the interview process.
