Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager Construction to oversee high-rise construction projects in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time role involves comprehensive management and administration, ensuring projects align with established objectives, policies, and best practices. The Senior Manager will serve as a key liaison between AECOM, clients, and design teams, guiding subordinate managers and supervisors through all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer high-rise construction projects, establishing project-specific objectives, policies, and protocols in line with PMC standards.
• Provide strategic management and guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors, enforcing company and project policies.
• Act as the primary liaison between AECOM, clients, and design teams for complex multi-story developments.
• Oversee all aspects of high-rise project construction to ensure compliance with design specifications, budget, and schedule through effective management of teams and trade partners.
• Utilize a design background to coordinate design-build integration and resolve design-related construction challenges.
• Administer projects from pre-construction budgeting and scheduling through design coordination, procurement, shop drawing development, RFI management, construction execution, space turnover, and contract closeout.
• Manage design coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration between design intent and field execution.
• Maintain significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction projects, managing complexities such as vertical logistics, safety protocols, and multi-phase coordination.
• Coordinate with design teams and consultants to address constructability issues, value engineering opportunities, and design modifications while maintaining project schedule and budget integrity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on high-rise developments.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects through their complete lifecycle, from pre-construction to closeout.
• Proven ability to manage profit/loss responsibilities for construction projects.
• Strong background in design coordination and resolving construction challenges related to design.
