About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Registrar - Endocrinology to join its medical team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves performing comprehensive medical assessments, diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of endocrine conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans. The role requires a commitment to patient-centered care, continuous professional development, and collaboration within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical assessments, including detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and the ordering and interpretation of specialized diagnostic tests for endocrine disorders.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and reproductive hormone disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based medicine, patient preferences, and individualized endocrine care.
• Monitor and manage chronic endocrine conditions, providing ongoing care, medication management, and lifestyle interventions to optimize patient health.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding endocrine disorders, lifestyle modifications, medication management, and self-care strategies.

Collaborative Care and Health Management

• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize both in-person and telemedicine platforms to provide consultations, monitor patients' progress, and offer virtual follow-up care when appropriate.
• Practice population health management by identifying and addressing endocrine health issues at a population level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health awareness.
• Embrace value-based care principles, focusing on optimizing patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through care coordination, preventive measures, and efficient resource utilization.

Professional Development and Quality Assurance

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in endocrinology, including new treatment modalities, guidelines, population health management strategies, and value-based care models.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for patients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care and outcomes in the field of endocrinology.
