Aroma City Group is seeking a Senior Technical Director to join its team. This is a contract position based in Riyadh or Jeddah, offering a salary of up to 50,000 SAR. The role requires over 10 years of experience in technical leadership and design delivery.

Role Overview

The Senior Technical Director will lead the technical design and delivery of multidisciplinary Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across various projects. This includes ensuring compliance with local and international standards, managing technical teams, and coordinating with various project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical delivery of multidisciplinary MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, fire alarm, and electrical systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects.
• Direct design development, technical reviews, shop drawing preparation, coordination, and value engineering activities to ensure accuracy, constructability, quality, and timely project delivery.
• Ensure all MEP designs, specifications, equipment selections, and technical documentation comply with applicable local regulations and international standards, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, DIN, BS, EU, UPC, IPC, NFPA, and relevant energy codes.
• Review design drawings, technical specifications, equipment data sheets, material submittals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and construction documentation prior to consultant or client submission and approval.
• Lead and supervise technical and design teams, delegate responsibilities, monitor productivity and project progress, establish priorities, and maintain high technical and performance standards.
• Coordinate closely with project management, operations, procurement, and cost control teams on BOQs, technical requirements, variation orders, approvals, and construction deliverables.
• Manage consultant and client technical approvals, conduct site inspections, resolve interdisciplinary coordination issues, and ensure approved documentation is efficiently transferred to project execution teams.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant technical leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in the design and delivery of multidisciplinary MEP systems.
• Strong understanding of local regulations and international standards for MEP systems.
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical and design teams effectively.

Work Arrangement

This is a contract-based position, with the flexibility to be based in either Riyadh or Jeddah.

Compensation

The salary for this role is competitive, offering up to 50,000 SAR, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
