Role Overview

Indra Group is seeking a Systems Engineer for Infrastructure & Applications Support to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in Jeddah and Makkah and requires 5-10 years of experience in IT systems administration and maintenance. The engineer will be responsible for managing and monitoring installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure high levels of availability.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor and test application performance to identify potential bottlenecks, propose solutions, and collaborate with developers for implementation.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Execute maintenance duties according to the maintenance plan, adhering to preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Inspect and verify the status of assets and spare parts, performing corrective maintenance, repairs, and adjustments as needed.
• Submit maintenance checklist reports in accordance with work orders and maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot issues by consulting as-built documents, schematics, and other relevant sources.
• Coordinate with Systems ML1 engineers to resolve incidents and analyze root causes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Solid experience in IT systems administration and maintenance.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to manage and monitor IT systems and infrastructure effectively.
• Proficiency in executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
