The Role of Truck & Bus Mechanic

Haji Husein Alireza & Co. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Truck & Bus Mechanic to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role primarily involves diagnosing and performing necessary mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles at the company's service center, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and operational safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems and execute necessary repairs on vehicles within the service center.
• Report any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) to the supervisor and initiate business cards for the repair or replacement of damaged parts.
• Submit completed work cards to the workshop employee for system entry prior to closing, facilitating final cost calculation.
• Document and report any additional defects or damages observed during service.
• Ensure all damaged parts are returned to the warehouse or spare parts department upon completion of work.

Workshop Standards and Practices

• Maintain all maintenance tools, special tools, and other equipment in excellent condition and ensure their correct storage.
• Minimize equipment usage during workshop downtime to optimize resources.
• Ensure the security of the service site, equipment, and tools at all times.
• Adhere strictly to standard times for tasks as specified by the workshop system, including entry and exit hours.
• Uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of the work site.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma.
• Recognised mechanical qualifications specifically for commercial vehicles.
• A minimum of three years of experience as a technician, with specific expertise in MAN vehicles.
