About the Role: Utilities Technician I GF

MBRF, one of the world's largest food companies, is seeking a Utilities Technician I GF to join its full-time team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to ensuring the continuous and safe operation of critical utility systems within the facility, contributing to the company's commitment to quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous and safe operation of the WWTP/Water Treatment Plant system, including Equalization, Anoxic, Drum-screen, Aeration, Clarifier/settling tank, Decanter equipment, blower room, MMF, and water filtration/chlorine systems, maintaining them in perfect working condition.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to keep utilities assets in optimal condition.
• Maintain high quality in electrical and mechanical operations, consumption, standards, and control.
• Adhere to Corrective, Preventive, Scheduled Maintenance, and Kanban systems.
• Carry out daily routine works, monitor parameters, and conduct laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate reports and records of activity, ensuring good housekeeping in all areas.
• Ensure proper handling of chemical products, tools, and the consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Completion of a minimum 2-year Technical course in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering field.
• Alternatively, basic Environmental or Chemical courses are acceptable.

Compliance and Operational Standards

• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines and procedures within the workplace.
• Adhere to HSE and food safety HACCP requirements and pre-requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S methodology within the workplace.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensuring adherence to the BRF Sustainability Plan through activities that promote compliance with indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company.
