The Opportunity: Unit Herdsman

Almarai is seeking a Unit Herdsman to join its team in Hail. This full-time role is essential for contributing to farm operations, specifically in planning, budgeting, and maintaining high standards of animal husbandry within the designated area of responsibility. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the planning and budgeting processes for farm operations.
• Perform various farm work tasks, with a specific focus on the area of responsibility.
• Ensure the application of high standards in animal husbandry practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma in animal husbandry is required.
• Three years of experience in a similar role within a large, fully automated Poultry/Meat Processing Plant.
• Three to four years of experience in stockmanship and leadership roles.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Demonstrated strong leadership abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to make informed decisions.
• A fast learner, open to training in new areas.
