The Role of Senior Health, Safety & Security Advisor

Almarai is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Security Advisor for a full-time position in Hail. This role is crucial for ensuring that the Hail Poultry site's Health, Safety & Security performance and control are managed and maintained in alignment with Almarai's HSS policy. The advisor will also oversee HSS for Poultry sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Health, Safety & Security performance and control at the Hail Poultry site.
• Ensure adherence to Almarai's HSS policy across all relevant operations.
• Oversee Health, Safety & Security aspects for Poultry sales.
• Deal with safety and security incidents, including fire, explosion, chemical incidents, and those resulting in casualties.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Systems Science or a related field.
• NEBOSH Certificate or Post Graduate Certificate in Health, Safety/Security, or similar technical membership (*, Tech SP of IOSH, GRADOSH, or OSHA).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an HSS Manager for an organization.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HSS Manager in a Poultry Factory.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in risk and fire prevention.
• Excellent technical knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of international codes and standards related to security and access systems, including NFPA, FPA, and LPC.
• Trained in incident command.
• Proficiency in ISO 45001 standards.
