About the Senior Piping Construction Engineer Role

Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects is seeking a Senior Piping Construction Engineer for a full-time position in the Makkah Region of Saudi Arabia, specifically in Rabigh and Makkah. This role involves overseeing critical piping construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project standards, and contributing to the successful execution of power plant or oil & gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all piping construction activities taking place on the project site.
• Direct and guide subcontractors to ensure the quality of work and timely progress.
• Review fabrication and installation processes to confirm compliance with all project standards and specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering teams, QA/QC departments, and other construction disciplines to ensure seamless project flow.
• Uphold and enforce safety regulations and ensure strict adherence to project schedules.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of direct experience in piping construction.
• Demonstrated experience working on power plant projects or in the oil & gas sector.
• A strong foundational understanding and practical experience in both piping fabrication and site installation.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Excellent leadership capabilities to guide project teams and subcontractors.
• Strong personal communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
• The ability to effectively lead and supervise subcontractor teams on site.

Location and Work Context

This full-time role is based in the Makkah Region of Saudi Arabia, with specific project sites located in Rabigh and Makkah. Candidates are preferred to possess a transferable Iqama (residency permit) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
