About the Service Technician Role

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Al Jawf, specifically in Sakaka. This full-time position involves maintaining and servicing wind turbines to ensure their optimal performance and longevity. As a Service Technician, you will be a key point of contact for customers, directly contributing to the reliable operation of Vestas' renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on wind turbine components.
• Conduct service and maintenance activities as per agreements, including various check-ups, repairs, and component replacements.
• Ensure the frictionless operation of turbines by utilizing systems such as condition monitoring and remote control.
• Communicate with customers regarding completed and upcoming service and repair work.
• Manage the service vehicle, warehouse, and the ordering of materials, tools, and spare parts.
• Complete daily reporting in SAP.
• Adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.
• Assemble components and main components according to current rules or work instructions, utilizing cranes if necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess experience or a degree in electricity, mechanics, or hydraulics, with a continued eagerness to develop skills in these areas. Proficiency in computer use for regular reporting and communication through various systems is required. Experience with different tools or systems for work monitoring and documentation is also necessary. A valid driving license is mandatory.
