About the Role

Rasan Construction is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its team in Makkah. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the company's operations through robust internal audit practices. The role requires 0-1 years of relevant experience, focusing on executing comprehensive audit programs within the construction and real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based internal audit programs and tasks in accordance with the approved annual audit plan and internal audit management methodology.
• Manage integrated audit processes from the planning stage through report issuance and follow-up on recommendation implementation.
• Conduct interviews and meetings with relevant departments, analyze data, review documents and records, and perform internal control tests.
• Identify risks, control gaps, deficiencies, and inefficiencies within operations and procedures.
• Prepare clear and professional internal audit results and reports, providing practical and implementable recommendations to management.
• Follow up on previous audit recommendations and reports, verifying the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions.
• Review compliance with company policies and procedures, authority matrix, contracts, and related systems and regulations.
• Evaluate governance, risk management, and internal control systems.
• Prepare and maintain audit work papers and supporting documents for results in accordance with internal audit methodology and standards.
• Contribute to the continuous development of internal audit procedures, tools, and methodologies.

Preferred Audit Experience Areas

Candidates are preferred to have direct experience in auditing financial and operational processes specifically related to projects. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

• Purchases and purchase orders.
• Contracts and agreements.
• Subcontractors.
• Project costs and cost centers.
• Inventory and warehouse management.
• Trusts, assets, and equipment.
• Project revenues and cash flows.
• Project management and operational processes.
• Auditing ERP systems and related controls.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Practical experience in contracting companies, real estate development, or construction projects.
• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Work Environment and Travel

The role is based in Makkah and requires a willingness to visit projects and sites as needed to perform audit functions effectively.
