About Chalhoub Group and the Role

Chalhoub Group, a leading partner in the Middle East's luxury goods sector, is seeking a Perfume Consultant to join our team in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are passionate about luxury fragrances and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Perfume Consultant, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets by ensuring an outstanding customer experience and maintaining high professional standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing customer relationships to foster loyalty.
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding products, prices, availability, product usage, and services.
  • Engaging with customers to assess their needs and assisting them in meeting those needs, often anticipating customer expectations.
  • Informing customers about the most suitable product ranges for their requirements.
  • Explaining the uses and benefits of various brands and products.
  • Managing new product launches, product promotion, and visual merchandising efforts.
  • Boosting sales while achieving set line and sales targets by leveraging your perfume knowledge.
  • Increasing perfume sales during events, offers, and new product launches.
  • Monitoring sales targets at the store level and preparing daily sales reports.
  • Communicating with customers remotely to drive store traffic or via e-commerce platforms (if applicable).
  • Participating in incentive programs and tracking post-new product launch sales at the store level.
  • Ensuring in-store merchandising levels comply with brand guidelines.
  • Ensuring stores are restocked on appropriate shelves and at designated times.
  • Reporting stock shortages using the designated stock request form.
  • Ensuring stock is received according to established procedures.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of your assigned area.
  • Adhering to company procedures regarding ordering, cash handling, and other common practices.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Previous experience in perfume or luxury cosmetics sales (preferred).
  • Good knowledge of perfume families and effective presentation techniques for customers.
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development within the luxury perfume sector.
