About the Opportunity

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Reservations Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to managing the hotel's booking operations, optimizing room revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest service through effective team leadership and operational oversight.

Role Overview

The Assistant Reservations Manager plays a critical role in leading the booking team, tracking room income, and providing comprehensive training to staff. This position is responsible for monitoring daily reports, overseeing third-party booking sites, and directly assisting guests to ensure a seamless reservation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise reservation agents, conduct daily briefings, and monitor phone calls to ensure quality service standards are consistently met.
• Produce room occupancy reports, track booking goals, and actively contribute to maximizing daily sales revenue.
• Handle complex guest requests and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure effective synchronization and collaboration with the front desk and sales teams to optimize operations.
• Monitor daily reservation reports and oversee activity on third-party booking platforms.
• Assist guests directly with their reservation needs and inquiries.
• Provide training and development to reservations staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in reservations management within the hospitality sector, preferably in a leadership capacity.
