IT Trainee

About the Role

SMART Technology Solutions is seeking an IT Trainee to join our team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to develop practical skills in IT support and infrastructure within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Diagnose and resolve various technical issues.
• Perform hardware maintenance and follow up on device-related problems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Currently an IT or Computer Science student, or a recent graduate.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Foundational knowledge in hardware, Windows operating systems, and networking basics.
• Background in cloud infrastructure fundamentals (*, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCI).
• Understanding of infrastructure basics, including servers, storage, and networking.
• Basic knowledge of laptop maintenance and repair, handling computers and printers, and operating systems.
• Professional IT certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Required Skills

• Good IT troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of English, including reading, writing, and communication.
• Fast learner with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
