About the Role

SMART Technology Solutions is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position based in either Jeddah or Makkah, offering an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to develop their accounting skills within a professional environment. The role focuses on supporting daily financial operations and maintaining accurate records.

Role Summary

The Junior Accountant will play a foundational role in the finance department, assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of financial data. This position is integral to maintaining the financial health and compliance of the company, working under the guidance of senior team members.

Core Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions accurately.
• Prepare invoices and process payment entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts and supplier balances regularly.
• Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Maintain comprehensive financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist with monthly financial closing activities.
• Support the preparation of VAT and ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements.
• Prepare basic financial reports as required.
• Coordinate with external auditors when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0 to 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be based in one of our offices located in Jeddah or Makkah, Makkah Region. The role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team environment focused on technology solutions.
