About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Registrar to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the ENT department. The Registrar will be responsible for patient examinations, medical histories, medication prescriptions, and interpreting diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and accurately document findings.
  • Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
  • Provide patient counseling on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare relevant to their individual cases.
  • Order and review results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe medications for patients.
  • Fulfill obligations related to patient records.
  • Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines of NCC.
  • Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other NCC departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
  • Complete fire safety requirements.
  • Comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education programs for the Section, Department, or Clinic as assigned by the chairman.

Specialty Tasks

  • Perform specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.
  • Undertake additional tasks as determined by specialty and clinical privileges.

Work Environment

This role is primarily performed indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off, totaling 8 net working hours per day according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
