The Role of Sales Support Executive

The Sales Support Executive plays a critical role in providing comprehensive administrative, operational, customer, and cross-functional coordination support to the Commercial team across Saudi Arabia and Levant markets. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, serves as a key link between Front Office (Sales) and Middle Office functions, ensuring the smooth execution of customer requests, sales processes, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer sample requests, including tracking, follow-up, and feedback collection.
• Coordinate the preparation, dispatch, and receipt of samples and cargo packages.
• Support Account Managers (AMs) in creating and updating sales opportunities within Salesforce.
• Maintain accurate customer records and commercial documentation.
• Prepare and organize local sales import documentation, including ingredient lists, labelling information, and product declarations.
• Create and maintain stock cards for local sales activities.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team during periods of travel, leave, or absence.
• Support annual pricing processes, including price uploads and updates.
• Represent the Commercial function in internal cross-functional meetings when required.
• Organize and coordinate team meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions.
• Provide support for commercial projects and other business initiatives as assigned.
• Communicate customer forecasts to Demand Planning teams and update opportunity probabilities.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and maintain service issue logs.
• Act as a liaison between Commercial teams and Middle Office functions to ensure timely resolution of operational matters.
• Support Finance teams with credit collection activities and customer follow-up.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Demand Planning teams.
• Take ownership of new lead management processes.
• Create, maintain, and update customer contacts and account information in Salesforce.
• Ensure customer master data accuracy across systems and support CRM data quality initiatives and reporting requirements.

The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key competencies include a high customer-service orientation, strong commercial awareness, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Accuracy, responsiveness, and strong execution capabilities are essential, along with a commitment to maintaining high data integrity and process compliance.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a commercial support or sales administration role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires the ability to work independently, including from a home-office environment.
