The Role of Senior Purchasing Officer

ALIF Factories is looking for an experienced Senior Purchasing Officer to join its team. This full-time role is central to strengthening the company's procurement functions. The Senior Purchasing Officer will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of essential materials, products, and services required for ALIF’s manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services for manufacturing operations.
• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to best-practice procedures, including obtaining multiple competitive quotations.
• Evaluating suppliers based on performance, quality, and reliability.
• Collaborating with production, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and contributing to continuous improvement in procurement efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and internal controls.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The Senior Purchasing Officer will work within a dynamic manufacturing environment, collaborating closely with various departments to achieve operational excellence.
