SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join its team. This full-time role focuses on providing client-side construction supervision for industrial construction sites, specifically within the automotive sector.

The Role: Senior Site Engineer, Construction Supervision

As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. The position is based in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) and Makkah, within the Makkah region, supporting critical infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and assess contractor performance.
• Verify completed works against approved IFC drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor earthworks, excavation, ground improvement, and foundation construction.
• Oversee reinforced concrete and structural-steel works, including erection, welding, bolting, and structural alignment.
• Supervise the installation of roofing, cladding, façades, and the overall building envelope.
• Coordinate civil works with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and utility interfaces.
• Monitor the installation and functionality of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process utilities.
• Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure quality and compliance.
• Monitor working-at-height activities, scaffolding, and Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) operations.
• Review lifting plans and monitor heavy-lifting activities on site.
• Track progress against short-term and medium-term lookahead schedules.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams, and quality assurance teams.
• Support snagging processes, defect resolution, and final project handover.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably within industrial or automotive projects. The role requires a strong understanding of construction methodologies and site management practices.

Work Location

This is a full-time position based in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, supporting projects within the Makkah region.
