About the Role

Converge is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, within the Makkah Region. The role supports day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions for a leading FMCG company.

Core Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing supplier invoices, processing payments, and performing account reconciliations. This role ensures adherence to internal controls and financial policies, contributing to smooth financial operations. Key duties include resolving invoice discrepancies and supporting month-end closing activities to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Duties and Accountabilities

• Handling and processing of supplier invoices.
• Processing timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
• Reconciling accounts payable balances.
• Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
• Resolving discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance roles. A strong understanding of invoice processing, payment cycles, and reconciliation procedures is essential. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls is required. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, is considered an advantage.
