The Assistant Housekeeping Manager Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join the team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar. This full-time position involves supporting the Executive Housekeeper in managing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved.
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, laundry, and linen management.
  • Monitor departmental productivity and staffing levels to ensure efficient allocation of resources in line with business demands.
  • Support the preparation and implementation of departmental budgets, cost-control measures, and productivity initiatives.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand standards and quality requirements.
  • Review housekeeping reports, room status updates, and operational logs, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Security, Laundry, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations within a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within Housekeeping.

Compensation and Benefits
