The Role of a Production Officer

The Production Officer will lead a self-directed, multi-functional team responsible for the efficient processing and packing of seafood products. This includes shrimp, salmon, and various multi-species fish. The role ensures that all activities adhere to company specifications, production targets, and stringent food safety standards, ultimately contributing to product quality, yield, and operational efficiency within established management parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets, ensuring adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to employees, ensuring tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements.
• Oversee all seafood processing activities, including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, to meet yield and quality targets.
• Collaborate with the Planning Department to review production plans and ensure product availability according to schedules.
• Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring products are delivered at the right time and meet specified requirements.
• Ensure all seafood products consistently meet company quality and safety standards.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Production Officer position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This role requires individuals who are ready to take on leadership responsibilities within a production environment and demonstrate a commitment to quality and operational excellence.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position within Almarai's food and beverage manufacturing and distribution operations. Opportunities are available in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, and Rabigh.
