About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a dedicated Carpenter to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to maintaining and enhancing our property's facilities through skilled carpentry and general maintenance tasks.

Key Carpentry Responsibilities

• Build, install, and repair various wall and partition elements, including drywall, wallpaper, millwork/molding, and faux finishes.
• Install and repair finishes such as laminates.
• Perform rough-in framing for doors, frames, windows, and cabinetry.
• Repair, maintain, and construct wood structures, including partitions, doors, and furniture, across the property.
• Execute miscellaneous minor repairs, such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• Manage the ordering of necessary items, including completing requisitions, securing manager approval, and utilizing appropriate vendors.
• Load, transport, and unload freight to designated areas using a hand truck.

• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all team members.

• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to move safely up and down a ladder.
