About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team in Makkah. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in food preparation and presentation within quality establishments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the daily food preparation and assigned duties to meet established standards and quality. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Preparing daily mis-en-place and food production across various kitchen sections.
• Coordinating daily tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
• Following instructions from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Ensuring consistent quality in daily preparation and staying updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
• Instructing and leading subordinates in their daily food preparation requirements.
• Participating in the setup and supervision of buffets and special functions.
• Coordinating with other sections regarding requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
• Consulting on daily requirements, functions, and last-minute events.
• Guiding and training subordinates to ensure motivation and an economical working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a professional kitchen apprenticeship or a chef's training course. Previous experience in quality establishments is required, along with strong culinary skills. The ability to communicate effectively in English and a proven track record in food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge are essential.
