Role Overview

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for providing essential administrative and support functions within the Human Resources department.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive filing systems for HR documents.
  • Draft and type office correspondence using computer applications.
  • Manage the distribution and routing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Order, track, and maintain inventory of Human Resources office supplies and forms.
  • Answer phone calls professionally and accurately record messages.
  • Establish and organize new employee personnel files.
  • Assist walk-in candidates with the application process and procedures.
  • Ensure application spaces are clean, well-maintained, and accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Employee Support and Confidentiality

  • Respond to inquiries, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Inform Human Resources management of any employee relations issues within the division or property.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all employee and property records, files, and sensitive information.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9's.

Workplace Conduct and Collaboration

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions promptly to management.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting team goals and responding appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
  • Certifications: No specific license or certification is required.

Physical Demands and General Duties

  • Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
