About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a dedicated F&B Service Expert (Dry) to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional and memorable dining experiences for our guests, extending beyond standard food service to create unique interactions. The ideal candidate will take initiative to provide a wide range of services, ensuring guests enjoy their meals and overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for guest service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Interact directly with guests, providing service and attending to their needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and service supplies.
• Process transactions efficiently, ensuring they contribute positively to the overall guest experience.

Physical Demands of the Role

Candidates for the F&B Service Expert role should be prepared for the following physical requirements:

• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, including movement over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Reading and visually verifying information, such as menu details.
• Performing physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, which involves bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is required.
