About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Host / Hostess to join our team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals looking to advance their careers. The Host / Hostess is responsible for providing a warm welcome and ensuring an efficient, courteous experience for all guests.

Role Overview

As a Host / Hostess, you will serve as the initial point of contact for guests entering the assigned outlet. Your role involves managing guest flow, handling reservations, and coordinating with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience. This position requires maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service to all guests.
• Welcome guests to the assigned outlet, receive them, and escort them to their tables, ensuring they are attended to and available as a point of contact.
• Manage outlet reservations, maintain the reservation book accurately, and answer telephone inquiries professionally.
• Assist the service team in setting up the outlet prior to business hours.
• Coordinate with the service team to make necessary arrangements according to the floor plan for reservations or blocking off reserved tables.
• Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of the outlet and its entrance area.
• Ensure the well-being of all guests by maintaining close, friendly, yet discrete contact.
• Possess thorough knowledge of all menus and ongoing promotions within the outlet to provide recommendations upon guest request.
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of the outlet's guest database.
• Confirm guest satisfaction upon their departure from the outlet.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally possess a diploma or degree in hospitality.
• Experience level required: 0-1 years in a relevant customer service or hospitality role.
