About Rotana Hotels and the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within a hospitality environment.

Role Purpose

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for executing daily assigned duties under the guidance of Supervisors, ensuring strict adherence to all hotel policies and procedures. The core purpose of this role is to deliver a consistently clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests, directly contributing to their overall experience and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor, accurately signing the key log book.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning of guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Ensure fire exits and stairways remain clear of any obstructions at all times.
• Inspect areas for maintenance needs and report any required work immediately.
• Collect and dispose of litter from corridors and pathways.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe surfaces, and empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Make beds, clean sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors, and polish brass and metal fixtures.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies as per established guidelines.
• Tidy and neatly arrange guest toilet articles on vanity tops, and spot clean carpets when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
• Remove Room Service trays and trolleys from guestrooms and corridors promptly.
• Inform valet service to collect guest clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Strong guest-focused approach with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established hotel policies and procedures effectively.
