About the Opportunity

An opportunity is available for a Laundry Attendant to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar, a part of DUBAI HOLDING. This full-time position is based in Makkah.

Role Overview

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing all daily laundry operations, ensuring garments are handled correctly and equipment is maintained. This role requires adherence to hygiene, safety, and chemical handling procedures to ensure high standards of service and garment care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all laundry activities, including washing, drying, pressing, folding, stacking, dry cleaning, finishing, billing, pick-up, and delivery of laundry items.
• Load and unload washing machines, dryers, and dry-cleaning machines in accordance with their specified capacity.
• Categorize various types of garments to ensure the correct chemicals and formulas are applied during the laundry process, preventing damage, shrinkage, or color loss.
• Verify and control that all garments are handled according to the manufacturer’s care labels.
• Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and good working condition to maximize its lifespan.
• Record daily pick-ups, deliveries, and loads produced.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to follow established hygiene, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
• Basic knowledge of laundry operations and fabric handling techniques.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position within the hospitality sector, based in Makkah, contributing to the operational efficiency of Jumeirah Jabal Omar.
