About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience in security and is central to ensuring the safety and security of all hotel guests, employees, their belongings, and hotel assets.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Security Officers and conduct briefings for the team.
Assign duties as per instructions from the Security Manager.
Prepare duty rosters and conduct departmental orientation for new employees.
Coordinate with local police and CID as required.
Conduct daily property checks for any damage or incidents.
Guard entrances and exits, submitting daily reports to the Lobby Manager.
Monitor designated areas using closed-circuit television (CCTV).
Ensure that fire exit doors remain clear of blockages at all times and that fire and safety equipment are correctly placed.
Perform all tasks consistently in line with hotel standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should be certified Security Professionals with previous experience, preferably within hotel security or a similar security branch background. Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, BHV, or proficiency in using an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) are considered advantageous.

Required Skills and Attributes

A good command of English in both written and spoken is essential.
Ability to follow safety and security rules and procedures without compromise at all times.
A hands-on approach with a positive, proactive, and determined attitude.
Ability to thrive in a busy environment and maintain composure under pressure, with strong attention to detail.

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the hospitality sector at Rotana Hotels. The role operates within a dynamic environment focused on maintaining high standards of safety and security for guests and staff.
