About Rotana Hotels

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dedicated Mason to join its maintenance team in Makkah. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the hotel's infrastructure and ensuring all masonry and civil works meet required standards.

Role Overview

As a Mason, you will be responsible for performing skilled masonry work, including the maintenance and repair of various masonry and civil jobs throughout the hotel. This encompasses public areas and guest rooms, with a focus on ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all tile grouting, blocking, and other assigned civil works within the complex.
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for masonry jobs as directed by superiors.
• Repair, maintain, and alter buildings, retaining walls, and other brick or stone edifices.
• Mix mortar, lay bricks and stones or concrete sidewalks, and construct and repair steps.
• Patch and replace brick or stonework chimneys.
• Install and repair tile floors or walls.
• Read blueprints and plaster ceilings or walls.
• Estimate masonry jobs and perform carpentry work incidental to masonry tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• A technical background with 0-1 year of experience in the masonry field is preferred.
• Ability to adhere to established policies and regulations.
• Must be in good physical condition to perform job duties.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and rectify system faults.
