About the Role

Zimam Company is seeking a Project Manager for a full-time position in Makkah. This role is central to the planning, execution, and oversight of Hajj and Umrah projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will manage timelines, budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and risks within the demanding and time-sensitive environment characteristic of these seasonal events.

Role Context and Objectives

The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, supervisors, and external suppliers/contractors to ensure that pilgrim-facing operations run smoothly. A primary objective is to meet both client expectations and regulatory standards. This position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in project management, particularly within high-stakes operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute Hajj & Umrah projects in accordance with approved plans, ensuring adherence to defined scope and objectives.
Prepare and monitor project timelines and budgets, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions.
Oversee operational performance and measure KPIs to ensure target achievement.
Distribute tasks and responsibilities among the project team, clarify roles, and follow up on execution.
Supervise work quality and ensure compliance with approved standards and client requirements.
Manage potential project risks, develop mitigation and remediation plans, and submit recommendations to management.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure resource availability and smooth workflow.
Oversee supplier contract management and monitor compliance with terms and scope of work.
Prepare periodic reports on project progress and completion rates for senior management.
Address operational challenges and make appropriate decisions.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of supervisors and team members.
Identify training needs for the project team and recommend performance development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with approved security, safety, policies, and regulations within the project.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address feedback, complaints, and enhance satisfaction.
Represent the company in meetings, events, and exhibitions related to the project's field, providing recommendations to management.
Perform any other duties related to the nature of the work as assigned by the direct manager or relevant department.

Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with critical timelines and budgets.
Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, requiring active participation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, particularly during Hajj and Umrah seasons. The role involves close collaboration with various internal departments and external partners to ensure operational excellence.
