Role Overview: Sales Engineer / Business Developer

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Sales Engineer / Business Developer for a contract position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on driving sales and business development activities, particularly with ARAMCO, across the Khobar region, covering OPEX & CAPEX in the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical sectors. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets for ARAMCO activities in Khobar, focusing on OPEX & CAPEX within the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industries.
• Act as the Key Account specialist for ARAMCO, performing the following tasks:
  1. Arrange sales and business development meetings with clients.
  2. Identify new prospective and potential markets.
  3. Initiate the sales pipeline following client visits and meetings.
  4. Prepare proposals and review and sign Purchase Orders (POs) as required.
  5. Track, assess, and report Bureau Veritas's market share with ARAMCO.
  6. Develop a market intelligence database.
  7. Develop market mapping for end-users, affiliates, and ARAMCO facilities.
  8. Identify required pre-qualifications, approvals, and necessary registrations for Bureau Veritas's profile with ARAMCO.
  9. Ensure compliance with all License to Operate (LTO) certifications and required authorizations for Bureau Veritas as per client requirements.
  10. Research, develop, and execute strategies to identify market opportunities.
  11. Conduct the company's customer satisfaction survey, examine results, and take appropriate action based on specific customer feedback.
  12. Plan and assist ARAMCO's sales and marketing efforts.
• Follow established processes for bid approvals.
• Execute additional tasks to maintain Bureau Veritas's market position in the petrochemical sector.
• Utilize Sales Force to ensure data integrity and manage a healthy sales pipeline.

Required Technical Expertise

• Relevant experience in Sales & Marketing.
• Awareness of Bureau Veritas's services.
• Understanding of applicable contractual terms and conditions.

Business Requirements

• Experience with key clients in the Western Region (WR).
• Proficiency in client management.
• Demonstrated business development capabilities.
• Ability to manage proposals and sales pipelines effectively.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Competence in contractual risk assessment and management approval processes.

Location and Experience

This contract position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with activities extending to Al Khobar. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience relevant to the responsibilities outlined.
