About the Sales Executive Role

Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a Sales Executive to join their team in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time position for an individual with 0-1 years of experience in a sales-related role.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Sales Executive will perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department, including tasks such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying. A key aspect of this role involves preparing sales-related documents throughout the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders. The position requires promoting brand awareness both internally and externally, and gathering materials to assemble information packages for clients. Sales techniques will be employed to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.

Furthermore, the Sales Executive will be responsible for entering, retrieving, reconciling, and verifying information in sales software, including details on commissions and leads. This role also involves serving as a primary point of contact for clients, communicating via phone and email to address questions and requests, and answering guest inquiries regarding property facilities and services, such as operating hours, rates, room types, packages, promotions, and dining options.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Prepare sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
• Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
• Assemble information packages with brochures and promotional materials.
• Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty.
• Manage information in sales software, including commissions and leads.
• Respond to guest questions about property services and offerings.
• Act as the main contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone and email.

This includes maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, as well as protecting company assets and proprietary information. The role requires welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs with genuine appreciation. Effective communication is key, involving speaking clearly and professionally, preparing accurate written documents, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and supporting team goals are also important aspects of this position. Compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards is mandatory.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or *** equivalent. At least 1 year of related work experience is required. No supervisory experience is necessary for this role. There are no specific license or certification requirements.
