About Penta Consulting and the Role

Penta Consulting, a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA, is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose and Scope

The successful candidate will join a growing team focused on delivering secure, resilient, and modern security solutions for enterprise and service provider customers. This role involves working with industry-leading Cisco security technologies across network, identity, endpoint, cloud, and zero-trust environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Cisco Secure Firewall (ASA, FTD, FMC, FDM) environments.
• Implement and manage Cisco ISE for ***, TACACS+, posture assessment, profiling, and guest access.
• Support VPN solutions including IPsec, AnyConnect/Secure Client, and DMVPN.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco security platforms, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and engage Cisco TAC when required.
• Execute planned changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, hardening guides, and as-built documentation.

Senior Engineer Contributions

• Lead security architecture initiatives.
• Drive zero-trust initiatives.
• Conduct customer workshops.
• Develop and enforce governance standards.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in network security engineering, with a strong focus on Cisco security technologies.
